Question about SATA drives

Quick question for you guys. I got a WD raptor drive a few months back and put it into my shuttle xpc and it worked fine for awhile. Then one day I went to boot up my computer and instead of booting up I got Nvidia boot agent then a long string of numbers ending up with DCHP at the end. Upon letting it finish whatever it was doing it said bootfile not recieved then prompted my to insert my startup disk and press enter. The thing is if I turn off the power and turn it back on the computer boots fine even if it takes a couple of trys. This is becoming pretty frustrating and it wasn't a pain in the neck to install windows on my xpc system (dangiling a floppy drive from the side etc) I prolly would've reformatting but since I really don't want to do that does anyone have any clue as to if there is a fix to this or not? Thanks.

PC Specs:

Shuttle XPC SN85G4V2
A64 3200+ newcastle
1 gig corsair xms
lite-on cd-rw
audigy 2
x800pro

keep in mind nothing in the computer is overclocked it's all stock. Thanks

System Specs

Perhaps the network boot-PROM function has been activated. Try entering the BIOS and disable the ability to boot off a network instead of a harddrive.

if the network boot bios option fix doesn't work, then run a diagnostic on your hdd. you might have to dangle a floppy again.
