Building new computer. Need advice!
I plan on building a 64 bit based computer. I can either buy the socket 754 based Athlon 3400+/1mb cache with the Chaintech VNF3-250 motherboard or the socket 939 based Athlon 3000+ 90nm with the Asus "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro motherboard. Thanks in advance.

...Currently i'm trying to get ahold of a 939 pin setup.... ATM, they seem to be the most worthwhile for the biggest bang for the buck...
939 pin also has Dual Channel memory support.. and according to a few places that i've called myself and asked for prices.. the different between a 3000+ 754 and 939 is a meer 4-15 bucks... Personally, i would build a machine based on a 939 setup.. and by the looks of it... if you like to overclock.. or plan to... a 3000+ coupled with a GOOD motherboad and a goodheatsink along with a decent power supply should produce some rather excellent results...

I would go with the 939 as it seems to be the future for AMD 64 chips should you want to upgrade more later.
