Need Memory advice
Hello peps
Here is my question I just ordered a 3500+ amd with a msi neo 2 plat motherbord and need some good memory I know jack about this and need help. I have heard people talk about the cruical ballistic and looked it up and its in the price range of what i want to spend.http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...146-546&depa=1 But I have also read about corsair xms extream http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...145-467&depa=1 Now I have NO PLANS OF OVER CLOCKING so that does not matter, basically dont waht to pay extra for that because I wont use it. Also being a noob what does low latancy mean/do? As always thanks guys

lower latency means you get a faster response time from the ram.
if you're not going to overclock, you really dont need either of those types of memory, as they are made specifically for overclocking. you would be fine with standard, generic ram...just try to find some that still has low timings. |
