New rig, need help w/ choosing some hard drives.
Not really sure what to use here.
I've been thinking about a WD740 SATA Raptor for OS & Apps, plus a pair of 250GB Hitachi DeskStar 7K250 for media, though I've loved my Seagate Barracuda (2x60 raid 0) and really wouldn't mind choosing Seagate again since the 'cudas have been so damn quiet and dependable. Or, should I go for something with NCQ? Mainly, I just want 400+ gb storage capacity plus a fast drive for OS/Apps. My new rig specs are below, gaming is highest priority, 2nd is overall storage capacity. What do ya think I should do? I'll spend whatever is necessary, but since I'm not really up to date on the latest HD's I don't want to get psyched into wasting a bunch of money on marketing hype. I'm completely open to suggestions....can anyone help me figure out a good storage setup?

Get two of the new maxtor 16 meg Cache SATA drives either 2 x 250 or 2 x 300 gig, they arent a kick in the ass of the raptor performance (faster in a few instances) with the benefit of getting 5x the storage for the same price, and running cooler.
