Quicktime\firefox problem!!! Help!
![]() thats what i get now since upgrading to the new quicktime. I cant seem to fix it. I tried installing the old quicktime. No good. I tried installing quicktime-alternative. no good. I tried updating flash player. no good. I tried messing with the QT settings. No good. I cant see Firefox being the problem here since it USE to work. But I dunno. can anyone help me please? edit: btw that pic you see is what I see on every flash clip save for the one on the top page of DH. It is also in about half of the forum pics but not all. I've also noticed that since updating QT, Firefox takes up about twice the amount of system memory now, which REALLY sucks and anything with a picture loads through quicktime(which is alot slower).

as I said...I just updated the plugins. Quicktime and flash player. Then I tried going back to the older ones that always worked flawlessly...same problem...so I upgraded AGAIN to be all the way up to date.
this is where i am now. I even tried reinstalling firefox and starting from scratch with the new updated plugins. no good.

hmm, that top bit on newgrounds should be flash, try redownloading shockwave flash, failing that check your file associations for .swf files

Already did. For some reason QT keeps taking this over. I even went into the settings and removed QT from managing flash programs...no good.
HOWEVER I finally fixed the problem(sortof). I deleted quicktime completely and now all webpages work! HOORAYYYYY!!! Course I dont have quicktime now. We'll see how far I get without it.

well i personally never use quicktime, i think its utter rubbish, but the QT-alternative is just a plugin for media player classic, so that shouldnt take anything over
