Who makes the best 120mm fans? My cpu is right next to my bed so I need it to be quiet but its gonna be on 24/7 so it needs to move a lot of air. Preferably nonlighted and clear but its not a big deal. Help quick as im ordering all my parts within the next day or two!

Get one with a built-in manual regulator, unless you have a separate voltage regulator that you can use. For instance Enermax has a line of fans that are both sturdy and has a seamless regulator pot. When it comes to CPU coolers the noise comes mostly from the amount of air getting pushed through the heatsink fins, and the variation of the noise in between two different but equally sized fans pushing the same amount of air is typically negligable. Use the voltage regulation to find the noise/performance sweetspot.

The Vantec Stealth is pretty good, but it's a constant-speed fan.

Check out these: AcoustiFan
I've been using these fans for some time now, and the performance vs noice factor is pretty good imo

This is one I have been useing and running since like 4 -5 years ago http://www.bestbyte.net/Product.cfm?...ryID=8&Keyword= What i'd reccomend he due is use a fan controller (buch of them here) http://www.bestbyte.net/Category.cfm...8&Keyword=#139 when he's not useing his pc that he turn down the fans and air flow via controller.... to a more pleaseing level all theses 120 fans are going to be loud to a point just not the high pitched unbearable nose put out by small fans... it's a verry low nose but you do also hear the air being pushed/pulled that alot of air your moveing with these fans If you game use you pc with head phones you'll never know they are there also.... you realise unless your running a server or something it kind of a waste to run your PC 24/7 ...all parts have something called a power on life span for emaple you can plug an new cd rom in and never use it then try to years later and it's dead... power degrades it's path over time then again others argue that on is better becouse the values of caps an resitors are kept constant and dont change wich is suposeadly better... but it come from the same people that said you can't over clock or overclocking is the devil.... so I'd take thier side with a load of salt
