AMD Processor Question...???????

From what I have been reading I should get the new Winchister core in an AMD processor.{as far as a good mid to high end gameing processor}Is this info. true?Or should I just go ahead and spend $200.00 more bux and get the FX-53?????....Thanks!

If you're not going to OC get the fastest model you can afford. If you want to OC definitely go with a cheap 90nm. Reason is this; my FX53 did 2.8GHz with 1.8v and the cheap 3200+ does it with 1.5v. Big difference, about 15c degrees at load

Actually its not WAY better. Its faster, obviously(at stock), but its not $600+ worth faster and it OCs like crap. I have used both for a while
