iPod to computer issue
I'm not sure if this is the best place to post about iPod's, but people here seem to know everything, so here goes -
I downloaded ephPod to backup all the songs on my iPod to my computer since i imported a lot of them using different computers, and everything went well except for this: In the process of copying [a little over 4000 songs, most of them from CDs imported to the computer (AAC files), few downloaded songs]. I got several pop up messages saying "Destination path invalid" and nothing else, so I just clicked OK and it continued copying. Later it finished copying, but about 60 or so of the selected songs weren't copied, possibly the number of times i got that error message. I have no way of telling which ones didn't get copied (except for going through all 4000 songs and picking out the ones that weren't there). I copied all the songs to an empty folder on my hard drive called "ipod songs", I didn't do any of that F00-F19 stuff; it just put the songs in folders organized by artist-album. Does anyone know of a way I can either find out what songs weren't copied and find a way to copy them, or just fix the problem and copy all the songs over again (ive got a pretty fast computer so I have no problem with repreating the process)? Thanks and on a side note, i'd also like to know how to copy those songs to my iTunes library, if anyone has any info about that. |

Sorry I've never really seen this problem before. Mine had a nasty problem taking AAC files with the extension "Mp4" but thats about it.
as far as importing them into itunes, you just drag and drop. you can also plug your ipod into a clean itunes I THINK and hit the sync button. It should download all your songs over.
