XP-120 in stallation

I had ordered a Thermalright XP-120 and recived it. I havent got the chance yet to install it. Anyone have this and know do I have to remove the stock Rm? I see that it comes with a K8 Adapting RM...is this for the Athlon 939pin 64's? Thanks in advance for the help guys.

all the thermalright heatsinks i've gotten have a very well detailed instructions. Read through them, i'm sure it'll tell you

Yeah I was busy and just curious about the install. Excellent instructions were included. This thing with a 120mm Panasonic Panaflow fan is MASSIVE!!!! Wow just installed and already a 10C drop in temp, hopefully a lil more after the Arctic Silver achieves a maximum particle to particle thermal conduction.

i have mine setup with a 120x38 ys tech fan. 125cfm is so great.

It's a piece of cake!If I can do it ANYONE can do it.Installing the fan WILL make you say every dirty word in the book though.Those little thin wire thingies will make you pull out youre hair!
