Default Post Trident XP4

What happened to this whole deal, over at Trident the last update about this thing was 8/5/02! Is anything going to happen with it in the near future? I'd love to see this thing come out before christmas!

suppose to be released on AUG-OCT, but got delayed. (maybe the 9700's power was too much for them to claim 70%).

I've contacted Trident. The chips are ready, but they don't make cards.

Jaton Corp. does make Trident cards, but a Jaton rep told me the XP4 cards aren't scheduled for production until Jan. '03! Guess Jaton is too busy making nVidia chipped cards right now. I have contacted PowerColor & informed them Trident is willing to work with any card maker on XP4 cards.

Time will tell,
