winxp says dual cpu on p4p800?
my comp shows dual p4 2.4ghz in system properties and device manager?
i have a asus p4p800deluxe so i dont think thats possible :P so to my question. can i remove one cpu from the dev manager or mayby its suposed to say 2 cpu the first cpu ends with a 0 and the other 1 had some problems with stuttering in games and so on thats why i found this can it be the problem? |

that's right.
Intel's HyperThreading causes that. 0 is the actual processor, 1 is a "logical" processor. |

Ht effectivly means the cpu acts like 2 cpu's,you don't physically have two cpu's on you're motherboard. Ht enables a greater way of multi tasking operations,just makes youre system run better.
