Funky Mouse

I'm looking for a new mouse my old one has just about had it. Does anyone know where I can get a really cool mouse? Something that kind of sticks out...

YES SIR!!!Without a doubt the Logitech MX-1000 is the finest mouse I have ever seen!I have been running the Logitech MX-700 and a Microsoft mouse{I forgot the model, but it's one of those mice with the scroll wheel that goes from side to side}The MX-1000 puts them both to shame!!!The MX-1000 along with C.S.Hyde's Mouse Gear{cshyde.com..It's a sheet of paper thin copper coated in Teflon} and you have a combo. that feels like youre speed skating on ice.

The MX1000 is indeed a great mouse, but it's a bit pricey. The Razer Diamondback has 1600dpi, is cheaper and looks kinda cool too...

Here's a Link to it

I've got the Diamondback, MX1000 and MX510... I prefer the Diamondback, but if you want wireless, obviously the MX1000 is the way to go.

wahh lucky where did u get that from..

I would recommend the MX510 or the dimonback (i am using that).

mx1000 isnt taht great for games, laser goes off when you lift it andthee is a delay when you put it back on table etc... not good if your serious about FPS

Well,I'm quite serious about FPS so I tried you're test.I used 3DMARK05 for the test and I used an MX-1000, mx-700 and my Microsoft Intelli-mouse.All 3 test's came out at 6141 3DMARKS.

yeah cause the sampeling rate on the usb port doesnt change whatsoever its always 125Hz unless you change it.

and by FPS i mean first person shooters not FPS doohhh the mx1000 laser goes of when you lift it and there is a short delay when you put it back on the mousepad! that is a serious gaming issue if you play online against good players and every milli seconds count. and yes i see an opponet 7 inches away on my screen and it does take me one quick movement to have his head on my crosschair. every milli second counts

Two notes: The MX1000 is locked at 125Hz, regardless of what is done with the usb port.

Human reaction time is generally around 150 ms, if you, or anyone else cares.

While my favorite mouse is the Razer Boomer Speed (same thing as the BFG one), I just attribute that to me being weird, and wouldn't recommend it to most people.

It's compeletly useless for fast-twitch gaming, and isn't much faster than the Diamondback anyway.

I've got me the mx700 right now. Although it is alot more accurate than my old MSFT intelli 1.1 mouse, sometimes it skips around. I think it's cuz of all the wirless stuff i have going on in my room . Next mouse i get is going to be wired. No batteries to worry about, no interference to worry about as well.
