Monitor criss-crossing lines
hey, after i switched to my nu QL 711v lcd, i've noticed that there are criss-crossing lines (barly noticable) in whenever i view colors like brown, gray or light blue, i've tried all the supported refresh rates, it doesn't change anything, pretty sure it's not my vcard since it doen't happen with my crt, tried dvi and vga, can't seem 2 get rid of it.

You are probably talking about Moire effect. Some lower quality panels can exhibit that. Make sure your monitor cable is a higher quality cable, preferably - Dual Link DVI, shielded. You can get one on eBay for about $15 shipped worldwide (don't buy in retail stores, they are waaaaay overpriced there).
Make sure you do not have any magnetic interference. This should not have significant influence on the LCD, but it may still cause some issues.
