??? Strange problem of Monitor

Today I face an unknown problem of my monitor (View Sonic E653). I saw this type of problem with TV.

The screen of monitor becomes larger and see only colored stripe on screen. But when knock at the top or side of the monitor its becomes perfect. If knock twice then screen becomes large again.

I think there may be any loose connection inside of my monitor. So I opened the case of the monitor but not found any loose wire (or may be I failed to check properly). Do u think it is possible to solve this problem without go to "computer clinic"?

Yes, It sounds as if your monitor is damaged. Could be a "dry joint" on the pcb inside the monitor or it could just be one of the components that is failing or loose.

By the way, dont open the monitor again - leave this to the professionals. It is very dangerous to look inside the case of the monitor and not something you should undertake yourself.

could be something serious... could be something quite simple..... but i can just about guarantee you that it's inside the monitor....

a loose connection would be most plausable... i've seen some solder point become disconnect from either breakdown which is rare. or heat...

i'd take it to a place that specifically deals with tv/monitors.... get it checked out and see what they thing... IT IS NOT a good idea at all to open it up and see what going on inside the monitor yourself.. it could be fatal
