Wink new video card

well, i got my new Radeon 8500Le with 128 MB's of DDR and i must say, i love it. I love to play Unreal Tournament in 40 FPS. And i know there are those of you who are constantly at 100+ fps, but i used to get like 5 on my old video card. So this is a major improvment!!!!!!!

Cool beans!

Glad to hear ya like it, it is a pretty sweet card. What are you stepping up from, and what drivers & tweaks have you tried on the 8500 so far.

Xpert 2000 PRO, and i have only used the drivers i GOT with it, and i haven't done any tweking. Just messed with the regular stuff right now. Although new drivers is something i should probably get... i want all the processing power i can get of my card. Any good drivers you know of?

Yeah, but...

...it depends on if you like 9x or XP. I'd recomend the 9069 set for 9x/me and the 6200 set for XP.

Not a danged thing wrong with Cyborgs!

I'd keep those for now if they do you up proper. I'll find some download links a bit later for you, I'm a bit rushed right now.

Pissed formatted, worked for a while

well i reformatted, and then i installed cyborgs drivers only, and i was really happy, GTA3 ran perfect and UT2K3 ran on 1280X1024 with all the settings set on high and all those special settings, and i still got 30 FPS. Which is fine for me. I can't see any framerate loss. But i guess i changed something (i dont know what) but now GTA3 just runs HORRIBLE!!!!! so now i am formatting again to see if everything will work fine. but i am trying to find some other drivers. see if those will work out better
