Samsung on majority of it's monitors made with the last 4 years i beleive.. have a highlight mode button... allow ing you many highlighting features.. like highlighting a specific portion or the screen or the entire thing. Also while highlighting, you can increase contrast and brightness and various other things.
All it does is basically "brighten" up the screen, without really washing it out at all...
One thing it's good for is CounterStrike source
(make it small and put it dead center of the screen... ) ...but like i said, i rarely ever even think about using it...
