I just ordered a 2005fpw. I hope I dont get any of that bleeding problem. I would love the 2405fpw, but it is too much for me. They cost $1,500 here in Canada, while the 2005fpw was $950 (I was also able to get 15% off).

All i can say is WOW!
This thing is huge, it is hard to actually get a sense of the thing in pics, from my old 19" CRT i think i have over doubled screen real estate. It is just so massive, i have to get use to actually using all the space. The quality is superb - no dead pixs, no bleeding, colours bright and vibrant without looking like you are on "Happy Drugs". Having spent lots of cash upgrading various components i think this monitor is the best purchase i have made in years. I would recommend it to anyone who can scrape together the cash. First thing after power on (and driver install) i did was jump into a game of CS:S and it was fantastic, I actually noticed that my jaw had dropped and my mouth was wide open. Then I checked out some DVDs (after fighting with Zoom Player and then giving up on ZP) on PowerDVD scaled up to full screen, and image quality was pretty damn good, and that was sitting right up close to screen to see if there was any blockyness. Really I am so chuffed with this piece of kit. This is one of those things where it is a quantum leap for me and I am so glad that i have done it nana |
