Removing Mandrake 9 Boot Manager

I was dual-booting both XP and Mandrake 9. I got rid of Mandrake, but I still have the boot manager pop up during boot for me to select my OS.

How do I get rid of that?

fdisk /mbr

Yeah, Mandrake was my first crack at Linux. I'm such a M$ man it is sad... LOL! Windows is what I've always used at home, and now that I have a career in computers--all that I use at work too. I felt stupid because it was like I was back at Computers 101 all over again.

Once I see more support for linux I will be switching to it full time..
I have a 6 disk RedHat 7.1, 7 disk SuSe 7.1, Mandrake 8.2, Lindows and BSD..
but find my self just sticking with Windows 2000 pro..

I have a copy of the new Windows Longhorn OS here as well.. was going to give that a test when i'm all cought up doing my stuff..

I have Windows 95, 98, 98 se, 2000 pro, 2000 advanced server, 2000 Data Center Server, Xp Home, Xp Pro Corp, Xp Whistler Server edition..

Out of all the listed os's, Win 2000 pro is the only one that seems to run the best for me..
But thats just my luck, other ppl may have better luck with something other then 2k...

I just run an Asus P4B 266 MoBo with a P4 1.6 CPU 512DDR 2700 ram.
VisionTek Gforce 3Ti 200 Gfx card
LinkSys router and LinkSys 10/200 nic card.
McAfee VirusScan ProFessional Edition 7 with fire wall.
BulletProof FTP [G6] server [300 gig's] With Mas Storage controler PCI addaptor.
Dino Web server v1.2
Eazy PSP 6 with My sql and apachee server for PSP board.
MSN, ICQ 2002a, mIRC 6.2
WinRar 3.0, WinISO Plus Down dated ASPI drivers for the use of FireBurn 106 and older vs of Clone CD/Database clone for ripping the real stuff..
I use different DVD to AVI/DivX ripping programs and a thousand other tool like it for pretty much anything..
All running under Windows 2000 in NTFS.
So far I havent had anything not work with it other them my HP scanner software because it was geared for 98 only but scanner still works if using Jasic or other adobe Art programs.
All you need is to just get a 2k driver for the hardware and the newer software will take care of the importing from scanner shit..
99% of my games "which is like 200+ of them" work for 2k as well.
I also use Office XP Pro plus. [Word, Exel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook 2000, FrontPage] with windows 2000 instead of Windows XP and seems to works great.
So I will just stick using that for now..
Like I say "thats just me" others may have had bad luck with Win 2000.
