BIOS OS Startup selection question...

OK, so I upgraded a computer in my house from windows 98se to Windows 2000. The question is that when the computer boots up I get the BIOS asking me which OS to boot to (I have 30 seconds before it boots to Windows 2000, the other option is boot to windows) is there some way to just have it boot to Windows 2000 without waiting 30 seconds to automatically boot to 2000? Thanks.

That's not the bios it's part of win 2k. When 2k is done starting up right click on my computer go to properties, then advanced, followed by startup and recovery and uncheck display list of operatin systems. Now it'll just go straight into 2k.

I just set the delay to five seconds, then if I really want to I can boot back to Win98se, but if I just wanna get into XP I just have an extra 5 seconds boot time (which I can deal with).

FYI, you can also edit the c:\boot.ini file for that (you have to set explorer to display hidden and system-protected files to get it).

You can deal with 5 seconds of extra boot time?

You don't belong at DriverHeaven, mister!
