ADVAN Model AGM/AMM20TDG 2-Megapixel 20.1 inch grayscale display

ADVAN Int’l Corp, a leading supplier of High-end Flat Panel Display technology for medical systems, announced today the ADVAN Model AGM/AMM20TDG 2-Megapixel 20.1 inch grayscale diagnostic quality flat panel display offering high brightness, high resolution for diagnostic and clinical evaluation studies for multiple modalities in the radiology field. The AGM/AMM20TDG 20.1 inch flat panel display supports Analog, Digital DVI, S-Video and Composite video inputs. The display is lightweight and can fit in constrained spaces making this ideal for hospitals, imaging centers, PACS/RIS reading rooms, imaging labs and other modalities that require digital radiology applications.

The AGM/AMM20TDG 20.1 inch grayscale model has a resolution of either landscape 1600 X 1200 or portrait 1200 X 1600, is available in both Medical Grade (AMM20TDG) (UL2601 EN 60601-1-2) and Commercial Grade (AGM20TDG) Models designed for medical imaging applications requiring exceptional image quality and precise grayscale rendering.

The AGM/AMM20TDG 20.1 inch grayscale display features the industry’s highest Flat Panel Display brightness 700cd/m(2) (209 FL) and the highest contrast ratio (1,000:1) for use in most diagnostic and clinical situations by technicians and doctors involved in detailed digital technology studies.

The ADVAN AGC2RV graphics board supports 10bit per channel grayscale accuracy from an 8bit input, combined with the 10bit non-linear gamma ramps from calibration tools. The images are displayed 10bit grayscale (Gamma table available for 256 of 1024 scales) using up to two Digital DVI outputs. This high resolution PCI graphic controller for Medical Imaging comes with 64MB of SDRAM, providing clear and crisp images at resolutions of up to 1600 X 1200 or 1200 X 1600 on each display. This graphics board supports the Windows NT®, Windows®XP, 2000 and Solaris™ and LINUX operating systems. Additionally, ADVAN offers a 12bit grayscale option.

“While most other flat panel manufactures focus on high volume consumer products, Advan has been able to address the special application needs of the medical radiology market and continue to grow,” said Kenzo Sudo, President and CEO of ADVAN Int’l Corp. “With the new 20.1 inch flat panel display, Advan has opened the door to all medical markets, making it the first affordable diagnostic quality, high brightness, high contrast ratio display.”
