Wireless thieves
Just learned something the other day!
If I want to monitor wireless activity on my network, I dont need a packet sniffer, my router is getting activity even though my PC is shut off. Step 1: Log On Log into your router's web interface by browsing to the IP address, (its the same as the default gateway) you can right click on connection and click status, and then support. Once your there, enter your password and username. Step 2: Check the DHCP table if your using DHCP for routing, as the larger majority of people do, then your router DHCP table has a list of all the machines that are connected to it. On many routers you can check the status tab and local network from the sub menu, then click the DHCP clients table, typically only your own PCs should be on it, any unamed machine is the intruder. Step 3: See what is going on.... enable traffic logging on the router and watch what happens, you can find intruders and see what sites they visit. Step 4: Send a nasty gram...LOL

Hey Jeff I have a great little program that you might like to try. It does sniff out folks trying to connect, no matter how they're trying to do it!

That's how I do it, Only certain MAC Addresses can access, and have a WEP Key going.
