Which Case?
Im going to be building my first PC this summer. Im not sure which case to go with. I do not care about front audio or firewire ports, so with that note, is there anything that this case has that this one doesnt?

I dont really want to spend more then 55$ on a case, im on a tight budget. For 350$ I'll be getting a case, socket 754 mobo w/PCI-E, AMD64 2800+, 512MB PC3200 RAM, and an 80gig SATA drive. Im getting a 6600gt as a gift and I'll be using my old monitor, speakers, cd drives etc. from my old PC. Im 17 and make 30$ a game umpiring baseball right now, plus I need to save money for car insurance, thats why I cant spend more then 350-400 right now.

I see. The cases I was going to recommend were going to cost at least $100. Not sure if you wanted a full or mid tower case, but here's one: http://www.xoxide.com/ultra-wizard-m...e-uv-blue.html
Or here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Sort=0&Recs=10 I believe Veridian3 did a review on the dragon case by Ultra: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/UltraCase/ Last edited by Drakon; Jun 22, 2005 at 05:24 PM. |

I got this case on one of my builds. I was very surprised at the overall quality of the case, especially for the price. It's extermely quiet (I can very barely hear hit running with 2 120mm fans) and it comes with a sturdy 350w PSU and a nice front door to hide those discolored 5.25ers you might have.
It's also very clean, sleek and modern albeit a bit heavy though. I would definitly recommend that, or a similar Antec case if you can budget it over some Korean no-name brand.http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=93703 |
