Maxtor HDD on Asus k8v-x problem.

Hi, this is system configuration:

Asus k8v-x mobo, Sempron 754 3100+, 512M Kingston HyperX CL2, Abit Radeon 9600XT VIO 256M, 80G Maxtor 7200rpm 8M cache, DVD-RW Pioneer, DVD-ROM LG, PSU 420W, WINDOWS XP SP2.

The problem is that when is some HDD activities ( 80G Maxtor 7200rpm 8M cache ), I hear a high frequency sound
I try it with another ide cable, I put off all from Secondary IDE but the sound are the same.
I try it with a HDD Maxtor 80G 2M cache, on this system , and the sound disappear.
I put this HDD with 8M cache on my other system and i can't hear that sound anymore.

What can be the problem?? the 8M HDD cache ?? Thx.
