??? AMD XP 2200 in an A7V133? Fo shizzle?

So I just accidently won an AMD XP2200 Processoron eBay. I was bidding on them at really low prices equivalent to what I can get them for from www.pricewatch.com . So I won an auction for $129.75. Little did I realize the shipping was $12.50 and insurance $7.50. I had overlooked these prices before when bidding. I'm kinda ticked that I am paying $150 for this. But I figured I'd keep it.

So the 2200 runs at 1.8 ghz. I can run 140x13 or anything below that. I can actually go to 140x13.5 or even 14. But I cut the bridges and unlock for a while. So just 1.8 ghz will do fine. But whatever. With my bios flashed to 1.009 or whatever number it is I have read that I can run an XP chip in my A7V133 (just temporary till I get a new mobo.)

Can I run this chip in here till I get my new mobo? Will it be that stable with such a high multiplier?

a7v133's are capable of a 14.5 multiplier. you can run as high as a 2400. heck, if your chipset and ram can run at 166, you could put a 2600 in there as well.

Yup. I could I guess... My RAM gets kinda dodgy after 140mhz... It is just cheapo RAM. But at least I can run aggressive timings at 140.
