I'd go with the Koss headphones. I am currently using my sisters UR15C's since i broke my Sennheisers, and they are very decent headphones, very very comfortable unlike my Sennheiser HD497s.

I've never heard Samson, so i can't say all that much about them. But I have heard Koss headphones, and they do sound good.

I never leave home without my Ltd Ed Senn PX100 's.
Finished in a vivid, 80's yellow. For size, price and transportability (I might just have made that word up?) you can't beat 'em.

Those grados are really sweet, especially price wise. But he bought really decent phones in the 212's anyway, and they are pretty cheap too. I'd like to hear both to see what differences there are.

I've got a pair of gigantic technics, and they are great so long as you can stand your ears cooking after a couple hours. Sound awesome though.

Likewise...my cans are technics and they are really sweet, and were a good price too. Super deep bass, good mid range, and little to no feedback. The highs are lacking just a bit weak, but I can live with that. btw, the zalmans have had many poor reviews; i'd steer clear of them.
