girlfriend's pc
hehehehehheheehehehehehehehehehehe
My girlfriend had a crippled 566 celeron dell with i815e graphics (on-board) and only 128 megs of ram...well, she likes nintendo games (like old school stuff) so for our christmas/one year anniversary gift I gave here a PCI based Geforce2 MX 200, Axis rumble controller, some 2.1 altec lansing speakers, and Sega Genesis, Nintendo and Super Nintendo emulators with over 70 games overall. Man, best idea I've ever had, she loved it! ...and the ring I got her probably helped too... She scores a whopping 1169 3dmarks now with default bench settings! MAN! And even internet surfing was slow for her before I did this....MUHAHAHA! And it's a compact dell, so I had to cram stuff in there...it's great! I can be a geek and a romantic at the same time! She's just great! |

Most excellent!
There ain't nothing like upgrading to say "I love you" during the holidays.
I've got the A-L IBM345 2.1 set-up and they just ROCK! INCREDIBLE sound! Your girlfriend is one lucky lady, nice job.

You should consider yourself lucky dude. More often then not in my experiences PC's have tended to alienaite the woman and create the rebirth of the one eyebrowed evil beast that resides within them all
Perhaps this only applies to my age group, you know the 40+ crowd j/k to all those woman that still have two eyebrows ![]() And yes, Zardon is quite right , if she gets used to your PC by chance your in real trouble

Now all you need to do is find a genuine old NES and hit up a pawnshop or several dozen and clean them out. I still play the old system I refurbed and it works great. Nothing like using the real deal, especially since the emulators STILL aren't 100% accurate sound wise and graphically.

Actually what you need to do is just put a PC into a NES (it has been done before). run the emulator at a LAN party until people start looking over your shoulder, then just minimize the window
