Screwed up loading times for programs on my PC
It can be apps or games and only certain ones.
My computer (P4 1.4ghz, 9600 XT, 640 MB of Ram) will take up to 2 minutes loading certain programs like Enemy Territory, Battlefield 2, FireFox, Far Cry, Limewire, Netscape, Call Of Duty and a few that I've missed. Anyways, my computer will just sit there after I've double clicked the icon for about a 1 min to 1 min and a half. It won't be doing anything at all but sitting there (or atleast to my knowledge). Also, after the programs taken it's sweet time to load, the next time you run it (after you've closed it down without rebooting my computer), it'll open in under 3 seconds. I don't understand why this is happening at all. It never did this before I installed Win XP or anything like that so I'm wondering if a re-install/reformat of HD will fix that. I only have my firewall and anti-virus running when this happends. I've tried turning/shuting them off with no luck. All other games and programs run and open extremly fast when I start them up with no wait like the ones mentioned above. Does anybody have a clue why in the world this happends? Have you run a scan for adware on your machine since this issue started happening with Ad-Aware or Spybot S&D (or a comparable program)?
Limewire is notorious for installing large amounts of adware/spyware on machines.

No it's not because of spyware. I'm running Limewire Pro, btw. I still just can't figure out what would cause this.
