Enermax 535w All in one - Couple of questions.
Thinking of picking up and modding this PSU for an upcoming case mod project but a few questions comes to mind.
The first one being can I swap the 80mm fans for 120s? I'd obviously be cutting up the casing and drilling my own holes and all but that's if it can clear it. Second, is this PSU very realiable? It's allot cheaper than OCZ Modstreams which I am currently running yet offer higher wattage which kind of steers me away. And how easy would it be to tear this thing apart, if you have any hands-on experience with it. ![]() http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/...erformance.htm |

You might have a lot of problems of swapping the fan because a lot of PSU's use an 80X15mm fan while standard fans are 25mm thick.
I have an Enermax noisetaker 485W, and its a very good psu, and very quiet. Can't say how loud the All in ones are though. |

I've had experiences... Undoing a PSU takes some effort and all... Not impossible but damn annoying.
The fan is gonna be tough. Mine for example just had the space for a 80x80x15... They made it so that I wouldn't be able to fit anything bigger so it will be tough. |

Guess I'll keep my stock fans then.
![]() Guess it's back to the drawing board. I would have wanted to paint the casing to match a mod I'm doing but I guess I'm better off looking for a compatible-colored PSU instead.
