I like WD 8MB cache hard drives.. Cheap - lots of storage, and last forever (my experience)
I got a 160 GB for 40 USD... the other day there was a special that had a 250GB- or close to it- for like 45 dollars. Maybe you cannot take advantage of it because of your location- but I usually scan these sites for deals: http://www.slickdeals.net/ example: Western Digital 320GB Hard Drive $120 after $30MIR http://www.slickdeals.net/#p6482 http://www.techbargains.com/index.cfm example Hitachi 250GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache hard drive $99.95 shipped free, Sep 16 http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...537&adid=17662 Deals change and new ones pop up every day.. maybe there are some sites like that, that have stored or internet retailers you can use where you are?

I suggest Seagate. Can't beat their 5 year warranty.
