You should look to something similar to this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...218288&CatId=0 Its been highly rated as a budget gaming monitor . Better contrast, brightness and response time than the Aopen F90GS.

Along those same lines, I've heard some good things about this monitor.

FujiPlus FP-988D

Just out of curosity, what will you be using the new monitor for?

edit: I just saw your post about you'll be using your monitor mostly for gaming. that being the case, I have to agree with ReDGuiTaR. The Hyundai L90D+ monitor is terrific. I recently bought one myself and have no complaints about it at all. All my games look terrific, as does everthing. I consider it one of the better computer purchases I've made for my computer recently.

You're right, ReDGuitaR. Sometimes I am slow on the trigger. Heck, I don't even carry a gun. I did however edit my first comments and included my thoughts about the L90D+.

Thanks for the help guys. I called up cousin and he reccomend one that he has and says its pretty decent for the price so I ordered it. I was thinking about that Hyundia one but he said there was no way he would take the chance on it. He had 3 and none worked right. I guess if you get a good one of them there awesome but its a crap shoot.

Anyway THIS IS THE ONE i went with.

What do you guys think of it?

Lol, it is in fact the very same monitor as they use the same display, the only thing that bother me with the Samsung is it does not have a DVI input ... only analog ....

Yeah I noticed that about the DVI but I done some checking on some review sites and they all seem to really like even with only Analog...guess I shall see

For sure it will be great even if you run it analog but, less futureproof ... Since you probably dont change monitor as often as other computer part you should choose something that will last longer .
