Unlocking BIOS

I read somewhere, sometime ago..(Vague eh?) That there are certain features that a BIOS hides, however there is this program that unlocks these hidden options. Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about or was this some weird dream I had.

Er... Not really - the BIOS doesn't hide stuff, but sometimes the motheboard manufacturers don't make options available that would otherwise be possible through the motherboard. There is no program that can magically unlock these - all that you need is a solid knowledge of BIOS editing and a BIOS editer...

EDIT: spelling error

here's a link search around the forum for your particular board there's a chance someone's modded a bios for it.

You can also try here, these are modded bios use them at yer own risk don't blame me if yer box gets hosed.

He is speaking of WPCREDIT. It will directly change all the BIOS registers from inside of Windows. Problem is, you really need a PCR file written for your specific motherboard or you won't know what each register does.
