Question for those with Water cooled Systems
Basically i have a setup water cooled system, but im going to have to remove the pump to add some elbow tubes. What are some of the strategies you guys have used to remove an already setup system. I know, be careful, but I want to hear some "strategies" for removing tubes with water in them. Am very worried
![]() I think im just going to have to hold it out of the case with a towel underneath and try to keep it from overflowing out. thanks guys

best bet is to try to drain the water first… if that's possible, do what you need to do, and then add new water

There is another way you might wanna try though, that is to have a bowl of water, submerge the part where you will take it apart, and do all the work submerged. In that way you may be able to finish up without needing to drain the entire system... But I'd just drain the whole thing to be sure...

Pull the lowest tube off as fast as possible and drain it into a bowl
![]() btw I really recommend against using elbows. They hurt water flow seriously.
