Gigabyte GA-7VAX and RAM?

So I just purchased the GA-7VAX mobo by Gigabyte about 4 days ago. I see that only certain brands of memory are supported: "PC3200 only support by Micro, Samsung, Apacer DDR module as Gigabyte verified." I bought Corsair PC3200 RAM. Will the Corsair run or are the listed sticks only the brands that Gigabyte suggests? I didn't bother to write an email to Gigabyte because I know that the response will take forever. Thanks in advance.

All that it means is that Gigabyte only guarantees that memory from those companies will work and that you won't get support related to your ram if you don't use ram from those companies - from an electrical standpoint, there is little/no difference between different manufacuturers of RAM. Don't worry about it - just use the Corsair, and if there are problems with it, talk to Corsair first, as Gigabyte will probably give you $hit about not using the ram they recommended to you.

From what I've read the corsair will run in yer mobo but anymore than 1 stick of 3200 will drop the speed from 400 to 333. It's a limitation of the kt400 chipset Here's a link for possible problems.

No, you aren't screwed - the Corsair will work - it is only if there is a problem will that be something to worry about. The Corsair, from the motherboard's perspective, isn't any different from any other ram, and it will work (It's RAM dammit! And so long as nothing is defective, there shouldn't be a problem at all).
