What socket 939, and agp mobos support Venice core?
I'm building a new system, but was told that 9NDA3 from epox doesnt support the Venice A64 core.
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813123222 thats the mobo i was planning on buying I need a mobo that support socket 939, AGP 8x, dual-channel memory, the Venice core, and uses the nforce3 chipset. I have no idea which board does this.. any one know? Thanks. |

DFI LANParty UT nF3-250Gb is probably the best OC'ing NF3 S939 board out there.

Why not make the switch to nf4 you'll get better processor support. I know you probably don't want to ge rid of your x800 but you can always trade it up to a pcie version without paying too much extra if you fund a buyer for your current card. If you are willing to do that then the door will literally swing open as to what mobos you can get.
I myself have an A64 3200+ (Venice core) on an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and it works great.

thanks for your input guys, I don't really want to hassle with finding a buyer of my video card, so I went with the MSI Neo2-F, which is basicly the same as the platinum except with out firewire, which ill be getting on my soundcard any way.
