Where to get a hardware monitor in fahrenheit?
I'm a dumb American, I would like to have a hardware monitor for my KX7-333R that reads in fahrenheit . I know I can just convert readings from celsius to fahrenheit by multiplying 1.8+32, but I'm lazy. Anyone know where to get one that just reads in fahrenheit that will work on my PC? The Hardware doctor that comes on the motherboard CD doesn't have a fahrenheit selection.
I've looked around, but I must not be using the correct search criteria or something. It seems like I saw one a long time ago, but I don't remember where.

Most programs can read farenheit as well. Most proggies have settings that allow either. Go download speedfan.

Damn, so check this out. Speedfan shows me 52C for my CPU temp. Sandra 2003 shows me 44C what am I to believe? I have the Volcano 9 running at 4200rpm and a relatively cool room.

Anyone got a clue? Is Sandra right with my CPU temp at 43C or speedfan with 52C?

On a Gigabyte board, crosscheck with their SIV - and does their Easytune tool also show temps
Motherboard Monitor - http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ Can report in C or F - and has a compensation adjustment. so you can match it with a presumed accurate readin from another program or BIOS (watch out for the time and load difference if using BIOS) |

SIV? Easy tune shows temps. Shows me 52.......I think I found it out....the temp that says 42.... I think it is my PSU. In some programs that temp shows up as the PSU temp and other it just show up unlabeled.. BUt the problems is that I have no temp sensor in there that is connected to the mobo.

On my 7IXE4, I have 3 temperatures.
1. Case (reading 34 now) 2. CPU (reading 44 now, with -10C correction to match up with SIV and BIOS) 3. Believed to be Chipset (reading 48C now) - does not vary much under load |

Yeah! - I tried Speedfan for that - but as it didn't, I've got used to MBM ..... quite common to have a CHIPSET that supports speed control, but the board doesn't implement it!!!
