RTilbury is on a distinguished road

Using two different encrytion types on a wireless network

I have a gamerlounge d-link router with two wireless computers hooked up to it.

On my computer I use WPA2 with AES encryption. My sister has a laptop with the same wireless adapter but for some reason I cannot get WPA2 to work with her windows. I have installed the hotfix and everything. Windows does not show the wpa2 option. So I had to change the setting on my router to "WPA2", not "WPA2 only". What I think this does is allow wpa2 and wpa connections to hook up. Is this ok? Am I loosing security on my computer because my sister must use WPA with AES? Will it also slow down my connection?

I also have invisible mode and mac filtering enabled on my router.

Any information?

Thanks
