Default Post Which case?

I know case choice is down to personal taste, but which do you guys recommend? I'm getting sick and tired of looking at my beige box.

If you want a Chieftec the best place to get them is www.buyxtremegear.com !

Steel Chieftec w/ window in White, Silver , Blue , or Black -$40 bucks.

Aluminum Chieftec w/ window in White, Silver, Blue, Black, Green, Red, or Yellow -$69 bucks.

Either of them can be had with a 420 watt PSU for an extra 20 dollars. AMD/Intel approved PSU I might add.

I bought the Silver Aluminum case w/ window, red neon, and PSU for 89.00, 3 day shipping ... total 106.00

Good luck with whatever you choice may be

People still buy those? Lian Li cases made my list of 2002's most overrated products (although, admittedly, that was posted in July...). Seriously, Lian Lis are overpriced, and not even that pretty anyway. They used to be THE aluminum case to have, but now, with so many other excellent cases to chose from, why would you get one? Get one of these (they are sold under many names, KingWin being one of them). I have one and it is FANTASTIC.

Yet again, I would like to take the opportunity to pimp my personal idea for computer cases: DIY. Why not just build one from scratch? You have the dimensions and all of every piece of hardware you are going to have inside of the case, so why not just build it yourself? It would be completely customized (beyond anything a mere modification could provide), and it would probably cost much less as you would really only need to buy materials...

even cheaper

Forget cases entirely! I'm just gonna nail my mobo to the wall, right under the airconditioning duct!! And a little shelf next to it for the drives, etc.

Well, if we are going to get cheap cheap cheap, you can always scotch tape your computer parts to the wall - cheaper to use scotch tape instead of nails, and you couldn't really use nails well with CD drives and floppy drives and hard drives, while scotch tape (or maybe even the vaunted extravagant duct tape) would do the job perfectly!

well i am glad that you like the case dasnipe, but um the case has a total of 4 fans in it ...with the vid card, cpu and adding a psu with 2 fans that makes 8 and i would say that is plenty of air moving around lol!
