Serial ATA question

Hi guys I have a question I have a Asus P4PE board that has serial ata can i use the serial ata ports on my hard drives and also use my other ide ports for my DVD and CDRW at the same time without a problem thanks guys

You can use SATA to hook-up your harddisks, but you need an SATA to IDE converter. You should have no problem hooking-up your DVD & CD-RW.
