Thumbs Up! New Case

For quite a long while now I've been thinking about buying a new case. I'm quite happy with my current case but it's a later model Thermaltake. I'm happy with the layout inside, but it's time to update to concur with the parts inside of it.

What do you folks think?

Looks like a really well built case but, as the guy say " design equals personnal taste " and i dont like it !

Well I like it, and I'm a tough person to please far as cases go. The main thing is I want some thing different. Thought about the Antec P180 but it's like everyone has that. One thing else I also hate is front end connectors, and yes this one has those but they're out of sight. However, still debating this case but if I get it I plan on doing the swap Thanksgiving weekend.

It looks like a pretty decent case. I kinda like the way it looks, but i'm wondering if the finish will scratch easily.

I imagine it is but I'm really careful. However, I do think it's a bit pricey. I like it, but will still look around. If you folks have any recommendations please give them.

I wonder if there's some type of anti-vibration system for the harddrive mountings. I really think all cases should have at least some kind of dampening there.

I'd be looking to a P180 if it wasn't for the amount of problems people have with one part or another of the case suffering from low manufacturing quality. The newer cases in the CoolerMaster Stacker line seems great construction-wise but are also quite costly. I'd take a Stacker 810 if I could afford it.

Pretty cool looking but I don't like the fan "grates"... I would be cutting those out and using another grill, or filter combo.. Those things are noisy the way they are-

Well decision finally made.

Ordered this today.

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=241614

Already have a blue lighted theme. Might also pickup some red fans to replace the blue. It would then be red & black. However, my PSU has green so maybe even green fans.

Here is a review of this case from Bit-Tech.

I used to water cool, but no water cooling for me now. Too much hassle.

I especially like the 2 big fans in the back- will be quiet and have good airflow.. Add a controller and can even make them more quiet.

I've been talking to Asmoday, and I "might" and I stress "might" do a write up on this. I already have a Vantec fan bus...so. Yeah!

I can definately say that is a much better choice that the previous one you were looking at. If that case was released a few months earlier, i'd also be owning one. Its a great case, and sexxy to boot.

Damn I was hoping to get it by the end of next week. Appears I won't be getting it until the 29th. Anyway ordered some Antec Tricools for it. The rear fans will be green to match my OCZ suppy. The front fan will be red.

I'm wanting a new case, too, to replace my current main system. The case for it will replace the case for my second system.

However, I don't like anything with a door on the front to cover the CD/DVD drives. I also don't like something that illuminates the inside of the case or even much of the outside. This is because I keep my case up on the desk not too far from my monitor. So, any lights coming from a case will distract from what's going on on the screen.

At least one other thing I DO want is top exhaust hole/s. I never store anything on top of my case and that's an ideal location for heat removal.

I guess you could say I'm mostly a 'plain Joe' when it comes this sort of thing.

It sounds like to me you should look at some of the Lian Li cases.
