How the hell are you guys getting far better temps lol
i think im going to have to remove my 90C and apply some more artic silver 5 as i dont think i quite put enough on there lol

at 1.47v on the vcore and at 1.63ghz when useing only 1 core temps idle at 33c - 49c max load
but when placeing stress on both cores at 100% temps jump to 35c idle - 52-53 max temp
everything is stable though but i want under 50c

also in smart gardian when the temp goes up to 50+c
the PWMIC < dont know what this is can someone tell me> goes up the same as the CPU temp

btw judas what volts are you useing for the cpu and LDT bus and NB+1.5v
chipset never goes into the red though

hmmm only thing i currently hate is trying to remove a xp90c heatsink once you get it on lol dam hard to remove without completely ripping out the cpu at the same time lol

Don't know really. I use OCZ thermal paste because that was all I could find around the house at the time.

.. i'm running everything AUTO/Stock settings.... so i'm not overclocking at all here...

one thing i've learnt... i NEVER trust the inside windows version of temp monitors... NEVER....

i actually use onboard bios set cpu temp alert or shutdown (although Asus has only a shutdown temp, not alert)..

previous boards i'd just set to a certain degree... then i knew with 2*C where i was sitting.. (say setting it at 44*C for alert... and it going off... then setting it to 46*C and the system never goes into alert mode... (meaning it's either right on 44 or 45) (example though)

anyways... when i get stuff setup here.. i may attempt some marginal overclocking... but i'm not going to leave my cas 2-2-2-5 timings on the ram

thats why your temps are low then lol
im overclocking here hehe

still even at 52c-53c max load under both cores im still safe.
65c is amd`s recommended thermal meltdown freeze point heh

still i would like to try someway of getting down to under 50c max
i also have my internal bios set to alarms and shutdown temps hehe

the reason these things are way hotter than single core amd64`s is becuse they have 2 cores both heating up at the same time and there for temps shooting though the roof :P
