A little advise please.I have come into a few bux.....

and i'm gonna do a little something to my SLi rig.Check the specs below and see where I would get the most bang for my buck.Somewhere in the neighborhood of $700.00 to $800.00.....Thanks all.

Uhmmm, what more do you want, Hawgshead? Your rig seems to be pretty complete

I've got a better idea. How about you give me the "few bux" you've come into and I'll put it to good use? I've got a credit card and some other bills to pay off

Drakon's right dude, you have almost everything in that beast...I don't think you could get a considerable performance gain with any part. A new computer desk/table maybe?

Maybe you should spend more money on your wife and less on your rig so you can get baqck in your mom-in-law's favor? Just a suggetstion from your friendly local relationship consultant.

I DO like the cigarette lighter option posted above. I may have to put one of those in the new rig I'm building (finally).

take a look at the new Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe board... it'll OC better than your current one and it's cooling is designed for watercooling.

or if you want the best OC get the new DFI Expert board. both will be better than what you currently have.

That would leave you 300-400 left for a nice monitor.

For noticeable improvements - I would go with Necrosis' suggestion of the X-Fi sound card, or a big 'ol Dell LCD (2405...) and do an AWESOME dual display setup with your Mitsubishi 22".

Edit: You don't list your audio processor in your sig - but if it is software now (a codec chip), you'll see an immediate improvement in games (in frames per second due to decreased CPU usage) and get much better quality...
