No Video SIgnal
Weird, sometimes when my pc boots up in between screens it will go black for a quick second and say "No video signal", but then flash to the next screen. Any idea why??

Could be a problem with the cord or something else with the monitor. To know for sure, try out a different monitor and/or a different cord. As long as its not happening during play, I wouldnt worry about it.
By chance do you have a Viewsonic monitor? What type of video card are you using? Any other information you have, post it. This will help out in fixing the problem. edit: Make sure you are running your games and everything at a refressh rate your monitor supports. That can cause problems. |

The name of the monitor is MultiSync LCD1760v and my refresh rate matches what it can handle (75 hertz). Video card is Leadtek 6800gt 256mb AGP. So you think it's no big deal????

If its only happening when the video card drivers activating, its nothing. There may even be a setting on your monitor not to display that message until x amount of seconds have passed. Look at the manual.
If its happening randomly, while windows is up and running, or during the middle of a game, then its something else, maybe a bad monitor or cord. |

or if it's hard wired, a different monitor. |

From your description, it looks like it happens when the monitor changes resolution or refresh rate. Maybe the monitor is a bit slow to detect the new resolution/refresh rate and it displays the message 'no signal' for one second before detecting the new mode.
