1600x1200 LCD
I'm looking for a good LCD that supports 1600x1200 that is not too expensive. Any ideas? Link would help a lot also.

as far as i know, the only ones that can do this are 20in. or larger. so you're looking to spend at the bare minimum around $400

Cant remember, but I wouldnt run an LCD at 85hz anyway. LCDs tend to look better and brighter at 60hz. |

The Samsung 204T and the Dell 2001FP are both nice choices - and the best thing about owning either one is that your system is fully capable of playing games at the LCD's native 1600x1200 resolution - should look mahvelous!
The Samsung is rated brighter with better contrast, but the Dell is a good deal less expensive. User feedback matters a lot on a choice between two units this closely rated in price and quality.

if you want a brick and mortar store to get one from, check the gateway 21" that came out a month or 2 ago, or yes, samsungs rock, like the 204T, and what's the older 21, the 213T? And then there's always the dell lineup, which is absolutely gorgeous, but order only

w00t w00t~! the good ness of running a CRT for gaming! lol.....well, not as much anymore. as LCDs have been becoming significantly better in the past year or so for gaming. though, CRTs are awesome during winter.....they're like mini-heaters
