Xmas Bonus Conumdrum

Yesterday we had our Xmas party for work, and we all got a big surprise. The annual Xmas bonus we usaually receive was 3x what we normally get. Since last night I've been looking at different options for upgrading my computer. I'm currently using a Sapphire X850 XTPE and a Hyundai L90D+ 19" monitor. I'm thinking about replacing one of these items. Below are the choices.

Video Card;

LCD Monitor;

LOL, now before one of you guys says give the money to me (forget it), sorry I'm a party poop. Ok, now that's being said, what would you choose? At this moment, I'm leaning towards one of the LCD monitors. The Hyundai will replace my kids old 17" Viewsonic CRT monitor, if I replace my current LCD monitor. Is replacing my current video card worth it just to go up a 100 mhz in speed.

i would definately go with the x1800xt no question. There are MANY more differences between the x850xtpe and the x1800xt then just clock speeds the x1800xt are just over all far superior cards.

waterloo is on a distinguished road

Do you play a lot of games, and such because I SWEAR that the ur card, and the X1800xt will not give you ALOT of visible differences, and maybe 5-10 fps higher... Go with a new monitor. Instead of a Hyundai think of maybe a viewsonic?? You have DVI than the
ViewSonic VX924 Black/Silver 19" LCD Monitor is the way 2 go!!! 3 MS ... it's only bout 340...

It gets kinda confusing about what monitor to go with, but I'm still leaning toward the monitor. But if I do go with a new monitor I also want to go to a bigger screen also and not just stay with a 19" LCD. At the moment I'm still thinking about the Samsung 214T.
