Need Case... Good Cooling + SILENT
Hello, I need a new case. Why? My case cost $20, it has 4 fans, and its as loud as a f.ing huricane. I was looking at something no more than $150, and it needs to be silent, real silent and have excellent cooling, well as long as the components dont get burnt. I'm running a 3.2 prescott(prehot) with stock heatsink, and 2 hdd's... Thanks in advance.

i think you are confused. The Stacker is made by Cooler Master. Antec's newest flagshit is the P180. Some people love the 180 some hate it. A friend of mine sold his because his Antec 1650B was much quieter. |

I was looking at the Lian-Li PC-7 Plus. Any good? Also the Lian Li PC-6070 A PLUS...
I'm afraid that one won't have good cooling though... |

Ok, some changes happened, and I need a case that is absolutely silent, also a CPU fan that is silent too that would be enough to cool a Prescott, not OCed.

like they said, noise depends on what you put in it.
I have an Antec Sonata with 2x 120mm (something or other) expensive case fans, both with those noise killer mounts, a nexus cpu cooler (runs at a whisper quiet 16db) and I use arctic silver 5 on everything (reduced my ambient temps by around 4/5 °C). only thing that I can hear at the mo is the ridiculously loud X800 that I haven't had the time to put an arctic cooler on, other than that would thoroughly recommend a sonata as a (these days) slightly cheaper case alternative. |
