Okay - I saw another, similar thread, but I think my problem is different. When playing a game, normally the Sims 2, but also when playing something that should be simple, like the old game Red Faction, right in the middle of the game, my screen goes blank, it says "no signal" and I have to reboot. I can usually still hear sound and everything, but the screen just stops. Ocassionally, the whole thing just reboots completely on it's own as part of the fun. I just got a new monitor for Christmas, a ViewSonic VX924. Previously I had a Eizo Flexscan F520, and the problem was the same. I have an AMD 3000, running on an ASUS A8V Deluxe with a gig of Corsair memory. My video card is a NVidia 6600 GT.
With my new monitor, I got a Netvision N6 Video processor and now I have my TV connected to my monitor and all that fun stuff.
So I'm playing the game, and it goes "no signal" but I can still view the other items on my monitor (not my PC). This no signal never happens during any other function on the pc other than gaming. I'm willing to try about anything at this point

, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
