Four LCD, which one do you recommend?
Which one?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...SubCategory=20 TBH, the samsung 940b is too expensive. I really want to spend under 300 on it, but I know that may not work out. 350 is my max, and the samsung really pushes that limit. Also, I don't see any warranty info for it. The Nu would be my second choice, but I've never head of them, so I'm thinking the BenQ. BenQ's tend to get good reviews, even if this one is a little pricey. The other option is this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001192

Hmm /w your budget I'm going for the Benq as well.
Just remember timing isn't the only important thing to worry about. DV-I, Brightness, & Contrast. |

well, I've never heard of a ViewEra, so I can't comment (but that may be a sign within itself). Of the first three, I would definetely go with the Benq, they are supposed to be great monitors (a buddy of mine has one and loves it). I would avoid the Acer, I have one at work and its sheit. The last one, ove never heared of either. Don't pay too much attention to the responses at newegg either, they are very misleading. I would say, if you can fork the extra cash, go with the samsung. I LOVE mine, and the next monitor will be one as well. It is honestly the brightest, most colorful, most delightful monitor I have ever owned (even more than the last two dell's I had, that I liked too).

Does anyone know Samsung's dead pixel policy? On their website they say that it's 10 or more dead pixels, but the article is two years old.
Right now I'm looking at an even cheaper viewera, it's only 12ms, but it's non-dithered and has a 3 year warranty, 6 month no dead pixel warranty, but like you said, they aren't well known. Anandtech has recommended viewera monitors for midrange pc's a few times, said they couldn't fault them for the price. Nu is made by Sharp. Acer, we have one at work and I don't like it. The 940b is very expensive, dithered, and does not have a tilt adjust, those are all turn-offs for me, especially if their dead pixel guaruntee is 10+ pixels. Here is that other viewera, and an hyundai i'm looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824138032 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824179014 EDIT Also, the Samsung does not come with a DVI cable, therefore I'd have to spend another 10-20 bucks to buy one.

I just bought the Hyundai L90D+ for 319 dollars shipped.
I read the review of it on tom's, and a few other ones around the net, and they all really liked it. Also, I read that the panel was made by samsung, so it should be good. What I was really looking for was something with no ghosting, a big picture, an adjustable stand, and true colors. This one, although a lighter color than I wanted, looks like it delivers.
