There is one strange problem with my memory (Kingston 1GB PC3200 CL3 184-Pin Kit 2x512Mb) all monitor programs and bios says that they work 335mhz, but shouldnt they work @ 400mhz? My mobo is Asus A8N-E and CPU Amd 64 3700+ and grapichcard is Gigabyte 7800gt. Help me plz solving this problem.

what programs are you using? i use a program called CPU-Z to monitor my clock speeds and memory timings, ratios, speeds, etc. it's a free d/l and it's around 1Mb in size (or smaller, i forget).
if everything is properly set in your bios, then your memory should be set to 200Mhz (or 400Mhz depending on your bios) in the bios. anything higher than 200Mhz (or 400Mhz again) would technically be overclocking, but the memory you have listed i know for a fact does not overclock very well (maybe like 10Mhz at best). |

Could this be the problem. There is two channels A and B wich both have got two DIMM sockets like this; Channel A Dimm_A1 and Dimm_A2 and Channel B Dimm_b1 and Dimm_b2 should I install one memory module to Dimm_A1 and other to Dimm_B1 ? Now they are in Dimm_A1 and other in Dimm_A2.

no. that will not be an issue for the memory speeds. placement of memory in the dimms is intended for the dual-channel functionality. so when the memory is placed in the appropriate slots, it will function in dual-channel mode. your issue you have is related to the speed of the memory not running at 400Mhz.
check your bios again to verify that it is in fact running at 200Mhz (400Mhz effectively) |

a8n series have a problem with dual channel RAM at 400mhz. It automatically sets it to 333mhz because of "stability issues". They are working on a fix, but the easiest thing to do is just set it to 400 in the bios. You may want to try the latest bios for your board and see if that addresses it. For your peace of mind, it happens to everyone, just set it yourself in the bios and all is well.

I think that I have the same ram than you have. For me they are in the first two slots since they are double sided. bios says that I have all slots in use.
