Took delivery of my new 37inch monitor

Well some of you may remember I mentioned ordering myself a new Dell 37 inch 1080/HDTV monitor a while ago. it finally came today (took 2 weeks!) and I have to say im impressed. It simply dwarfs my Dell 2405 which I thought was a rather large screen!

I took a few shots.

picture quality with the xbox is just as good as the dell 2405 just almost double the size... ive been impressed so far - at 1080. One thing however that has totally surprised me is the quality of the supplied speakers, they are really exceptionally good speakers for a monitor and actually give a very hefty bass sound. of course not in the league of a dedicated sound system but the best ive heard for a "bundled" set.

Great value too as I got it with a £200 rebate.

man Zardon,
That is the nicest monitor i have ever seen and that r1 is badass.Is that bike yours?It is the most original modded r1 i have ever seen.I wish i could spend a little cash on my busa for some new pipes and and paint.My bike is five years old now and still really nice and taken care of but rock chips are showing now and it just isnt as shiny as when i rode it off the showroom floor.later man

Gorgeous screen zardon. And, those speakers do look really decent. They accompany the screen perfectly. Would you mind taking a shot with one of your 360 games running in high def?

ill leave screens that size to the americans, personally I think once you get too big its brutal looking unless you have a huge room

thats really cheap compared to here, they are around £1600 retail.

DUAL IT!

i got to play around with a 37 inch monitor quite similarly speced... pretty damn good image quality and good for the blind to read..

but imo, i'm not shelling out that much money for a monitor that size considering i'm still not quite impressed enough to find it justified....

"good for the blind to read?" didnt know there was much reading to be done playing the xbox 360 or watching movies, then again if you cant follow the words maybe you read the subtitles all the time?

as for the last comment, well I guess its not cool enough for you, not sure anything is though

i wish i had money growing outa my ass.... but... erm....

no seriously, if i got a damn good deal on a monitor like that, i'd take it any day... right away.... and sit at home drooling over it.. i'd move my main rig into the living room at litterly live there...
