FlatBED monitor?

For some reason I kept picturing a pick-up truck with a monitor laying on it's side for the backend. I think ya mean "flatscreen" monitor.

I just saw that monitor in a "MICRO Warehouse" magazine. They have it for 399.95$ after a 30$ rebate. So yes it is a good price for you.

You need to look also at the response time for the LCD monitor. This determines how well the monitor can display moving images. The LCD spec should be 25ms or less for clear motion images. Be careful because many manufacturers misrepresent this specification. Tomshardware.com does a good job of accurately comparing the qualities of numerous LCDs.

LCD for the challenged

get some software that tests your LCD's capabilities, I agree, that princeton is probably the "pinto" of the the LCD world....a space saver at best....

Whatever you get be sure that you can test the LCD screen BEFORE you buy it... I ordered 132 flat panel screens all at one time... Three didn't work, and 14 of them (that is a little over 10%) had "dead pixels" 1 or 2 dead pixels are easy to deal with... but a few of them had 20 - 30 dead pixels... Be sure that you can test one completely out before you buy... otherwise you might bring home a POS.

Good luck to you!
